Embracing the Digital Adventure

I'm Jason Morano, a seasoned software developer with over a decade of digital adventures under my belt. From Web3 gaming at GameStop to enriching the immersive realms of Disney, I've traversed diverse landscapes of code, creativity, and innovation. When I'm not diving deep into development, you'll find me capturing moments through my camera lens, hitting the road for a spontaneous trip, or spending quality time with my partner and three canine companions. An avid 3D printing enthusiast, I not only design and print my own models but have also ventured into crafting consumer electronics from scratch. Whether online or in the real world, I'm always driven to create.

The Foundations of a Digital Enthusiast

In my teens, I took my first steps into the digital realm with a TI-83 calculator, crafting simple games that pushed its limits. This early fascination evolved into a collaborative passion when I later spearheaded programming efforts for Project FIRST Robotics. My interests then branched out to game development, where I experimented with classics like Halo and contributed to the modding community of World of Warcraft. Each phase deepened my love for technology and innovation.

From Academia to the Big Leagues

My thirst for knowledge took me to Wilmington University, where I geeked out on game design and development even more. While there, I led the charge on programming for a GDC entry. Fresh out of academia, I joined Bully! Entertainment, where I brewed immersive AR/VR experiences for the biggies - think Kellogg's, Marvel, and DC. I even got to prototype creations for other big names such as Pokemon, and Spiderman. My endeavors took me to Sparkypants Studios, immersing me into AAA wonders like Elder Scrolls Legends and Dropzone. From there, I jumped over to the expansive universe of streaming with Disney and Hulu.

Personal Musings: Beyond the Screen

Outside the 1s and 0s, I'm an avid tinkerer with a penchant for breaking things apart and (hopefully) putting them back together. This website is a testament to that - always a Work-in-Progress, always evolving. At heart, I'm a playful geek with a profound love for the games and tech world, always eager to embark on the next adventure.
